My City Conference has been created to unite pastors and inspire students to impact their circles of influence for God. February 18-20, 2016, youth and young adults from across Northern California will come together to answer the call that God gave Solomon, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Through prayer, worship, powerful teaching and unity, we believe God will hear our prayers and heal our cities. As Northern California comes together we believe God will break strongholds in our land. We are better together. We are claiming the fulfillment of the promise that is spoken in 2 Chronicles 14:7 “The land is still ours because we have sought the Lord our God.

City-Impact Tracks

A unique aspect to the My City Conference are the “City-Impact Tracks,” most commonly known as workshops. Every track has been created with a specific purpose; the goal of each track is determined by the group it targets. There will be multiple tracks offered. This format will essentially create a retreat within the conference for each targeted role within your ministry. For information on who will be speaking and what tracks are offered please check back. Pastors’ Track:

The pastor’s track is a yearly highlight of the My City Conference. Each day we are able to spend time together growing as leaders and connecting as friends. The speakers in this track are the main session speakers during the conference. They bring a fresh take on leadership, family, and ministry that is sure to leave you inspired to continue what God has called you to do. This track is only open to pastors that have a pastor’s lanyard and a large beard, Just Kidding about the beard, or not. The My City 2016 pastors’ track speakers are: Carl Lentz: Carl pastors Hillsong NYC, a church in the heart of Manhattan that has a passion to serve the city and make an impact worldwide. If you can’t find Carl at Hillsong NYC, you can find him at MSG watching the Knicks as he attempts an NBA comeback. Chad Veach: Chad Veach is one of the nation’s most sought-after preachers and leadership teachers. He is an expert in youth ministry, structure, and creating a thriving youth and young adult ministry. In his former church he lead a youth and young adult ministry that had over 1,000 young people in attendance weekly. Chad and his wife, Julia, currently pastor Zoe Church in Los Angeles, CA. They have two beautiful children, Georgia Estelle and Winston Charles. He is a fan of golf, the Lakers, and people. Havilah Cunnington: Havilah Cunnington has been in full-time ministry for 20 years traveling throughout North America and Mexico speaking at conferences, churches, camps, and retreats. Havilah believes today is the Church’s finest hour if we choose to live with passion, purpose, and walk in power.  Her life is busy and full – just the way she likes it!  Like most women, she wears many hats: wife, mom, daughter, teacher, speaker, author, and friend.  Prior to serving as the Executive Director of Moral Revolution Havilah was on staff at The Rock of Roseville Church for 15 years. Havilah and her husband, Ben, reside in Redding, California, with their four young sons – Judah, Hudson, Grayson, and Beckham.

Worship Track:

The worship track is built to help enhance your ministries’ worship team. The worship teams for the weekend will each teach for one day in this track. They will spend time talking about practical worship leading principles such as: spiritually leading, preparation, and supporting the pastor’s vision. Q & A time is also a valued aspect to this track. Your Worship leader will be able to have a personal interaction with these leaders. The My City 2016 worship track speakers are: Chris Quilala: Chris is one of the worship leaders of the Jesus Culture band, is on the Jesus Culture Senior Leadership Team, and is the Worship Pastor for Jesus Culture Sacramento. He is a talented and anointed worship leader with a love for the presence and power of God. He and his wife, Alyssa, have two adorable daughters, Ella and Aria. Jeffrey Kunde: Jeffrey plays lead guitar for the Jesus Culture band. He has been involved in the writing and arranging process for many of the projects that have come out of Jesus Culture. He also works as a studio musician on various instruments for The Soundhouse in Redding and other music projects. He lives with his wife, Kathrine, (married for four years and counting) and they have the cutest son ever, Luca. Capital Worship: Capital Worship is the worship team for Capital Christian Center’s weekend services. Capital Worship is made up of talented musicians and singers who’s main goal is to serve and minister to those who attend CCC and to reach the city of Sacramento. “Deep In Love” was their first album, released in Febuary 2015 and they are currently writing and recording their sophomore project, to be released later this year.

Leadership Track:

The Leadership track is for leaders of small groups, bible studies, or anything else your ministry offers. This track will give leaders the opportunity to receive wisdom on how to lead with passion and integrity, while supporting the vision of their pastor. The My City 2016 leader track speakers are: Diego Simila: Diego is the Youth pastor of Hillsong nyc and serves under Carl Lentz. Cody Williams: Cody is the Director of Events at Jesus Culture. Cody has been working with young people for over a decade & has a unique blend of ministry and business experience as a business owner & entrepreneur. He is a great communicator, a strategic thinker, and is passionate about seeing this next generation know Jesus & all that He desires for their lives. He and his wife, Shannon, have four sweet girls, Paisley, Amelia, Charli, and Penelope. Robi Quick: Robi Quick is the Student Ministries Director for the Blue Oaks campus at Bayside Church in Roseville Ca. His passion is to lead others into a life of hope through Jesus Christ. He does this through his relationships, creativity and desire to develop others. He is a leader, speaker, director, creative mind, friend and most importantly husband to Tamara and father to his 6-year-old little girl, Londynn and 3-year-old son Graeme. He has been in ministry for over 10 years; Preached all over the world, 16 countries and counting, led mission trips to Mexico of over 1000 people and has hundreds of students involved in his ministry.

High School and College Student track (Moral Revolution):

This year’s student workshop will be one track for all students. It will provide biblical knowledge, scientific understanding, and counseling tools to provide real, practical solutions to core issues surrounding sexuality. This workshop will give students an opportunity to ask questions that will help build a vision for their future. This track will be led by Moral Revoltion and Havilah Cunnington. Middle School Student track:

The My City middle school track will consist of powerful teachings, connection groups and larger than life games. We will be diving into the importance of being Set Apart for Christ while attending public or private schools. Our goal is to equip our young people with boldness and practical tools to make a difference in their world.

Q. Is there childcare? A. Childcare will be provided through the Capital Christian nursery and Jesus Culture children’s ministry, for ages 0-5th grade. This is a service only for Pastors that have paid or are bringing a group. There is an additional cost of $59 for the first child, $49 for the second and $39 for each child after. Please register your children by selecting this link: My City Childcare. All registrations must be received by February 12th, 2016.  Q. What are the times and dates for the conference? A. It starts on February 18 with our first session. It will conclude February 20. You will be able to download the schedule one week before the conference. Q. Is the venue handicapped accessible? A. Yes.
Q. What is the refund policy? A. Unless the event is canceled, there are no refunds. Q. Is food available for meals? A. There are many close restaurants within two miles of CCC. During lunch times we will also have food trucks available on campus. Q. Is there a detailed schedule of who will be speaking and leading worship for each session? A. The schedule of who is speaking will be posted the week of the conference. Q. Is there anything else I should know?  A.
